WorldCard Contacts iPhone App Review.WorldCard Contacts by Penpower was
designed to replace the existing native
iPhone contacts. This may sounds weird, but looking into the features
we believe WorldCard Contacts can be a potential contender to native iPhone contacts app. WCC is aimed to effectively manage your iPhone contacts with assigning the contacts with categories.
The WorldCard Contacts app has five tabs at the bottom that controls all the functions. So let me list out the functions offered by those tabs.
Favorites – This function is nothing strange, all it has the ability to add favorite contacts from our iPhone contacts to make calls pretty faster using the favorites. Optionally you can add thumbnail images to those contacts.
Recents – To list out your recent call and message history.
Contacts – Import your iPhone contacts
and you can add or edit the contacts right inside the app. This was one
of the unique feature which is quite not seen in most of the iPhone contacts management apps.
Keypad – Make call within the app from the contacts
present or by using the keypad present in the app to make new calls.
Cards
– The prominent feature of World Card Contacts was the ability to gain
inputs from the business card images taken through your iPhone. Using
the advanced technology World Card Contacts to gain inputs from any
business card images to the contacts.
The
WorldCard Contacts iPhone app
works perfect on all the iOS 3.0 or later, which means the app works
perfectly on your iPhone 4 or iPhone running iOS 4. Along with the
announcement the developers have added support for multiple languages
(English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, French, German, Italian, Spanish,
Portuguese, Dutch) and also you can merge your iPhone contacts with the app’s database.
World
Card Mobile is quite impressive tool to manage our contacts and this
was a necessary app for corporates to efficiently manage their business
