Solving the Pages App on iPad That is Not Showing Up
There are two problems connected to the downloading and installation
of the Pages app though. The first one is that it doesn’t appear after
it has been downloaded. The other issue is the complete opposite
however, with the Pages app showing up as downloaded when in fact, it
hasn’t been downloaded at all.
Let’s deal with the first issue first shall we? So you have
successfully downloaded Pages but it doesn’t show up. Well, the first
thing to do, is to really look for it carefully on your iPad, maybe it’s
hidden and tucked away on another page of your screen? If it’s really
nowhere to be found, then connect your iPad to your computer with a
connection cable and open iTunes. Select the App tab. Search for your
Pages app. When you have found it already, double click on it and the
iTunes would show where your missing app is.
If it still doesn’t work, then disconnect the iPad first to check out
the iPad’s settings. Go to Settings, then choose General, and then
Restrictions. Check if you have ticked any restrictions for downloading
and displaying new apps. If you did then just uncheck it. However if you
didn’t then sync your iPad to your iTunes again.
Pay attention if it has located your app. Disconnect it, and if after
disconnecting, the app that was supposed to be found is still nowhere
to be seen then perform two resets: the first one is soft, and the
second one is hard. The soft reset is easy. It is just performed by holding down the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds.
The hard reset
on the other hand is also easy, although this time, it requires you to
hold down two buttons at the same time: Sleep/Wake and Home. Keep
holding them until your device shuts down and restarts. A hard reset
could take a couple of seconds to a couple of minutes so don’t mind it.
After both of the resets the Pages app should already be located. If
it’s still not appearing, then maybe there’s something wrong with the
install. The only fix for
pages app on ipad not showing up there, is reinstalling.
