Delete photos in Photostream on iPad. For the record, let me just say that Apple has done a really great
job in improving the quality of their camera. They only had good
intentions when they released iCloud, and since iCloud is still at its
baby stage, we cannot hold them entirely responsible for the features
that iCloud is still lacking.
As for the deletion of the
photos on the
photostream on your iCloud, if you want to delete all of them, then yes there's a way to delete and remove all of the photos on your
photo stream
forever. On the other hand, if you want to delete individual photos,
you still can't. Maybe in the near future, we can expect for this
feature, but now there's no way to delete individual photos. It's all or
nothing.
Deleting Your Photos In Your iPad Photo Stream
Moving
on, if you want to delete them from iCloud, all you need to do is to
log in online to your iCloud account. Go to iCloud.com. Locate your
Apple ID or your username. Click it. There's going to be an option to
reset your photo stream.
Now,
if you're not entirely decided that you want all of your photos wiped
out, then you can just temporarily disable the photo stream option on
your iPad. You can do this through the iPhoto app. Inside the app,
locate Preferences. Tap on that and select Photo Stream. Under photo
stream, there's going to be an option where you can untick the option
that enables the photo stream. This option would not delete your photos.
This is just temporary, as long as you don't delete your photos from
the site itself (as mentioned a while ago).
We can only expect
that this would be remedied on the first update of iCloud. For now, all
we could do is to wait and hope that Apple indeed remembers this option
that they have obviously overlooked the first time.
