Book and Library App Alternatives to Crashing iBooks App. Books have a huge influence in our lives. It's been a big part of mankind's history and civilization. It is also said though that books are close to becoming extinct because of the dawn of the technical age. That is only an opinion though, because no matter how advanced man could become, books would still find a way of incorporating itself to our every day life. Today, because of the iPad, reading became a new process, and you could also say that with this, the traditional book took on a new form.
With the need to read books, of course, came an app for reading - the
iBooks app. It's like a virtual library where you could store your books, read them when you want, and archive them. This is like our own physical library at home only better! Children who do not like reading would have second thoughts when they get a hand on the children's books via this app. It preserves the very idea of a book. It also has pages and lets you flip pages by touching, which is really close to experiencing a real book. However, children's books via the iPad has a virtual narrator or reader, so even if your kid doesn't know how to read very fast yet, he could still enjoy reading this book. In this point of view, you could also say that this makes the experience more educational. Along with reading, the app also provides supplementary videos and colorful animations. What's even better is that the child could reread and reread anytime he wants! It's not that bulky as well. You could keep hundreds of books within your iPad. Imagine having that kind of library with you wherever you go right?
The only downside is that the iBooks app has its own share of downs. Like all the other apps out there, the
iBooks app is not perfect.
