Reporting Issues and Crashes With iTunes Store Purchases - A
lot of
crashes have solutions, but not all of them. Sometimes, it's even
very unfortunate that you have
downloaded and installed an app that
came with a very high price tag, only to find out that it's not working
and there are no known solutions. Whenever we find new problems and new solutions
we always blog them here at
technogeekery, but as mentioned sometimes
certain app problems just go beyond our user level, and goes out of
control.
Don't
lose hope though because there is a way to get back at these apps and
their developers for their defective app. You can actually
report these issues directly through the iTunes Store. Now the question is, how do you this actually? Well, you have found the right blog article to answer that question.
How To Report Issues And Crashes With iTunes Store Purchases
Of course, the first step is to open up your iTunes. Sign in to iTunes Store
by clicking on "Store" then "Sign-In". All you have to do next to
successfully log in is to type in your account name and password. Now
that you're already logged in, view your account. This is done by
clicking on "Store", and then "View My Account". The account you're
looking for should have its name indicated inside a parenthesis. Find
and click on the "Purchase History" button. This would take you to your
Purchase History page where you're going to see all the apps that you
have purchased. Locate the "Report a Problem" button and click on it.
Next is select the app or the purchase that you have issues with and you
want to report, by clicking on the arrow beside the date that you have
purchased it. After clicking on the arrow, click on the corresponding
"Report a Problem" link as well.
This
should take you to another page" the Report a Problem page. You would
see a scrollable button there. Choose the problem that you're
encountering. If your problem is not listed then choose the "My
concern isn't listed here." option. You can write comments and
additional information about your issue if you want, but this is already
optional.
After
this, click on the "Submit" button, and your problem is already sent.
You'd be surprised on how fast the iTunes store responds 0 usually just
around 24 hours after. Of course if they are probably receiving a wave
of complaints, it could take much longer but rest assured that you're
issues, problems, and queries, would get answered as soon as possible.
Now,
if the app, or program, or whatever it is you have downloaded from
iTunes that you want to make a report off is not listed down on your
Purchase History page, then it just means that the iTunes
store would not be able to help you solve the problem. Hence, you
should go straight ahead and visit the developer's site and report from
there.
See?
We cannot solve all our
iPad problems by ourselves, and we shouldn't. A
lot of times, even if we did discover a fix for a certain issue, we
still need to report it in order to inform other potential consumers, or
better yet the developers themselves to make them aware that they're
actually missing something.
