iTunes Crashing on iPad - iTunes Crash When iPad is Connected - If there is one thing that an iPad user cannot live without, that is the iTunes. The iTunes
is the one we use to install and store all the data we need to keep our
iPad performing, it updates our iPad, and most of all, we all know that
the iOS we have for now is not a standalone device, hence the iPad
simply cannot perform without it.
The sun is brighter with the upcoming iOS where the iPad is now aimed to be a standalone device functioning even without connecting it to the iTunes,
but only up to a certain point. They only removed and replaced the data
connection cable with wifi. Overall, you still need to access the iTunes,
but you don’t have to physically connect your device to a computer
anymore. As long as the iTunes and the iPad is within one wifi
connection they could sync already with each other.
iTunes Crash When iPad is Connected: Solutions
As already mentioned on a past post, the
iTunes might be an iPad user’s best friend, but the iPad and the iTunes
are really not that close. They even have problems every once in a
while. Good thing, these problems could be resolved.
One of these problems, is that the
iTunes
rejects the iPad, or it doesn’t recognize the iPad even if it’s already
connected to the computer. This issue has already been resolved in a
different post. However, this is not the only issue that the iTunes and
the iPad has with each other. Sometimes, the issue is that the iTunes
doesn’t only ignores the iPad, but whenever the iPad is connected, the
iTunes performs a suicide and crash.
This
iTunes Crashing on iPad issue is a very rare occurrence, and
they usually occur whenever there are network updates. It could be
caused by two: it’s either one of the devices is not updated and could
not accommodate the one that already is, or the update done was not
installed carefully with corrupt data. So now the question is, how do
you go around it?
Let’s go to the first issue. one problem
that could cause the iTunes to crash whenever you try to connect your
iPad to it, is that it actually rejects your iPad because it cannot
accept it as it is not yet as updated as the iTunes. You cannot do
anything much about this one, especially if your iTunes is the only way
to update your iPad. With this, the solution is already pretty obvious,
you have to reinstall your iTunes into its earlier version, update your
iPad, and then update your iTunes again.
The second issue on the other hand is
that the iTunes update didn’t go too well. Of course, again, the
solution is still the same. First, you have to uninstall the iTunes, and
reinstall it again. The second time you install it, make sure that you
look closely and make sure that all the files are successfully installed
this time.
After your whole re-installation process check if both of your iTunes and iPad is now functioning well together and the
iTunes Crashing on iPad should be gone now.
