iPad is ‘’frozen’’ if the icons on the screen are
getting you nowhere. Put differently, your iPad is not responding to

how to fix a frozen iPad using three basic methods: the simple restart, the soft reset, and the hard reset. Let’s get started.
Simple Restart to fix Frozen iPad
You won’t lost any file. Simply locate and hold down the Hold button.
The Hold button is located on top of a standing iPad: on the upper
right side. Press the hold button until you see the slider button; use
your finger to shut down the iPad.
Now your iPad is off. Go back to the Hold button and press it until
you see the Apple logo. Let go of the Hold button and wait for about 8
seconds. The iPad should now come up normally. You should be able to
click on the icons and they will obey your command. If you are still
having a frozen iPad, use the next method.

If you are still wrestling with a
frozen iPad, then you need
to do a soft reset. Not to worry, you would still have all your
settings and files in place. Identify the Menu button. The Menu button
is the button starring at you on the face right now. The button you see
immediately below the screen.
Press the Menu button and the Hold button at the same time. Do not
let go of them until the screen goes dark. Let go of them and wait for 2
minutes. Press down the Hold button and hold it there until the apple
logo appears on the screen. Once the apple logo appears, let go of the
Hold button. Wait for about 10 seconds for your iPad to come up fully.
You should be able to use your iPad now without any problem.
Hard Reset to fix Common iPad Problem
If you are still having
frozen iPad
palaver, then it is time to do a hard reset to fix ipad frozen.
Remember to backup all the files on your iPad when prompted. Hard reset
will take your iPad back to factory settings, thus this process would
delete all documents and files on your computer.
First, you must install the iTunes software on your computer and make
sure it is up-to-date. Connect the iPad to your computer and fire up
the iTunes. Locate the ‘‘Restore’’ button which is under
Devices/iPad/Summary. You would be prompted to save all your files,
click on the backup button. Wait for the factory restore to finish. Now,
